Carnelian is a red-orange-rust variety of chalcedony. The color comes from iron ore, and is enhanced by heat-treating. The briolette is a 12x8mm flat faceted teardrop.
The carnelian dangles inside a brown AB (aurora borealis) cultured freshwater pearl hoop. Upper beads are amber chips.
